The Naperville & Lisle Townships TRIAD in partnership with the City of Naperville is excited to once again present our annual Healthy, Wealthy & Wise senior conference from 8AM to noon on Fri., Sept. 22, at the Naperville Municipal Center.
The Naperville-Lisle TRIAD is a collaborative partnership between law enforcement, senior citizens and community groups. TRIAD empowers seniors to be more involved in community programs, educational seminars, and focuses on the importance of health and safety. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for all older adults.
This year we have a great morning of informative speakers. Julie Kenney from the United States Postal Inspection Services will start off the day presenting “Stop, Proceed with Caution” focusing avoiding scams and offering insight how the USPS conducts global investigations.
Jenny Dawley, Director of Senior Services for Naperville Township, will be addressing senior transportation options for residents with an “On the Go” presentation.
Have you ever wondered about Alternative Therapies? We will be having three expert speakers discussing innovative therapies of the 21st century and if they could be an option for you.
Resources exhibits and free blood pressure screening will be available. A complementary lunch voucher (certain restrictions apply) will be given to participants who have registered and are in attendance.
There will be something for everyone at this fun and informative event.
