Waldo returns to Naperville’s independent business community July 1-31

-

Ann Lord is depicted in The Great Concerto, a huge Century Walk mural that graces the door on the Community Concert Center.

UPDATE, July 1, 2019 / You could say bespectacled Waldo in the red and white striped shirt is returning to Naperville in support of taking local residents on a “Tour de Independents” all during the month of July.

For starters, folks can look for Waldo as a show of independents during the Summer Municipal Band Concert Series at 7:30PM Thursdays in Central Park through Aug. 15, 2019.

Independents such as Ellman’s Music Center, Two Bostons, Braconi’s Restaurant, Naperville Bank & Trust, Positively Naperville and Catch 35 signed up to be featured raffle sponsors during the weekly concerts for 2019.

In fact, bright and early on the Thursday morning prior to the salute to America concert to celebrate Independence Day at 6PM on Thurs., July 4, Waldo is expected to be spotted trying to find a good place to hide in Central Park. Look for Waldo and independent friends at one of the upcoming weekly concerts when moderator Ann Lord again will promote the sponsor of the concert, most often one of Naperville’s independents!
