35th Anniversary Survey Results now available online at www.napervilleriverwalk.com.
The Naperville Riverwalk Commission is releasing the results of its first-ever community survey conducted to mark the Riverwalk’s 35th anniversary. The survey results are a collection of public opinion from nearly 2,000 local residents.
Additionally, the over 4,000 comments from Naperville residents will be used to help in the strategic plans of the Riverwalk moving forward. Findings also include Naperville residents’ rankings of which projects the Riverwalk Commission should prioritize including expansion of the Riverwalk, maintenance of the Carillon/Moser Tower, and construction of an ADA ramp.
“It is so great to see that the people of Naperville love the Riverwalk as much as we do, and are excited to see how we can make it even better in the future,” said Geoffrey Roehll, Riverwalk Commission Chairman. “Hearing from the community through this survey has given us invaluable insight into how people use and enjoy the Riverwalk, and that insight will inform our work as we invest in improvements.”
The Riverwalk is here to be enjoyed by the people of Naperville, so there’s no better group of people to hear from as we plan for the future,” said Roehll. “This survey will help us better understand how people use the Riverwalk now, and how they want to see it improve moving forward.”
The results are available to download on the Riverwalk Website, and are available here: https://www.naperville.il.us/globalassets/media/projects/ted-business-group/riverwalk/2017-riverwalk-survey.pdf
