See Sing on the big screen in the the Naperville Community Concert Center. Sit on a bench, your own chairs or a blanket spread on the ground. (PN really enjoyed Sing in the theater.) More Movie Nights are scheduled on July 7 & 29, August 11 and September 8.

Naperville artist Marianne Lisson Kuhn has painted designs for three of the 15 book benches, including Good Night, Moon.

Downtown Naperville turns into a land of storybook benches with a novel approach toward attracting visitors that’s bound to please all summer long.

The Naperville Park District’s Paddleboat Quarry  is open now through Labor Day. Paddleboats and kayaks may be rented at the Paddleboat Quarry hut located next to the paddleboat dock. Paddleboats are $10 for a 20-minute ride for up to 4 people and $12 for a 40-minute ride for up to 4 people. Kayaks are available through Naperville Kayak for 30-minute rides at $10 for a one-person boat and $20 for a two-person boat.

Oswald’s Summer Wellness Fair returns June 24. The popular wellness fair is set from 10AM to 2PM Sat., June 24 at Oswald’s Pharmacy in Naperville Plaza, Washington at Gartner. Focused on good health and fitness, stop by for raffles, sales, door prizes and snacks. Be sure to see what’s new in the medical equipment showroom in case you need a little lift.

Thanks to Exchange Club of Naperville and success of 2016 Ribfest, $1,192,000 was divvied up to benefit 40 local nonprofit agencies. 2017 Ribfest is set for June 30-July 3, with fireworks on July 3.
