Annual Tulip Bulb Sale – 8AM
Naperville Park District – 320 W. Jackson Ave  Naperville, IL 60540
Simply put, the Naperville Park District annual tulip bulb sale will take place beginning at 8AM on Friday, May 12, at the Administration Building parking lot, located at 320 W. Jackson Ave.  The bulbs for sale will include those recently blooming along the Riverwalk, in front of the Park District Administration Building and throughout the district. Tulip bulbs are $3 per dozen, first come, first served.  Tulip bulbs go quickly, too. Be on time for the best selection.

Food Truck Friday – 11:30AM
Turning Pointe Autism Foundation – 1500 W. Ogden Avenue Naperville, IL 60540
Come by 1500 W. Ogden Ave. for some delicious lunch from Toasty Cheese on Friday, May 12 from 11:30AM – 2PM. Not only does Turning Pointe receive a portion of the proceeds, it also serves as a great opportunity for our Day School students to engage with the community and practice their vocational skills.

Revenge of the Rhythm Section –  8PM | $15-20

North Central College presents “Revenge of the Rhythm Section” at 8PM Friday, May 12, in the College’s Madden Theatre at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. The show features two members of the College’s acclaimed jazz faculty: drummer Jack Mouse and bassist Kelly Sill. Letter Carriers’ Food Drive! – 8AM | Donate Non-perishble Food
By your Mailbox –  Naperville, IL 60540
The 25th annual national Letter Carriers’#StampOutHunger Food Drive is this Saturday, May 13. Simply leave a bag or bags of non-perishable food by your mailbox in the morning before your letter carrier’s normal pickup time. Loaves & Fishes will receive all food collected by the Naperville letter carriers during the one-day food drive. Last year, Loaves & Fishes received more than 80,000 lbs. of food. Thanks for all support.

Midwest Disc-Dog Club Championship – 9AM | Free
Riverwalk Grand Pavilion – Jackson Ave. Naperville, IL 60540
Sponsored by the Midwest Disc Dog club, spectators will see amazing moves by dogs that run and leap in the air to catch their discs.  Dog owners interested in entering their dogs (no experience is necessary) in the all-day event may register on site beginning at 8:30AM. Paddle Boats & Kayaks at Jaycees Marina Open for Season – 10AM-7PM | Rentals (See prices)
Jaycees Marina on the Quarry along the Riverwalk –  Naperville, IL 60540
The Naperville Park District’s Paddleboat Quarry will open Sat., May 13, weather permitting, with Saturday and Sunday weekend hours through the month of May and daily hours beginning Mon., May 29. Paddleboats and kayaks may be rented at the Paddleboat Quarry hut located next to the paddleboat dock. Paddleboats are $10 for a 20-minute ride for up to 4 people and $12 for a 40-minute ride for up to 4 people. Kayaks are available through Naperville Kayak for 30-minute rides at $10 for a one-person boat and $20 for a two-person boat.

North Central College presents rock band Gin Blossoms at 8PM Saturday, May 13, in the College’s Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. DuPage Symphony Orchestra Concert – 8PM | $15 – $38

The DuPage Symphony Orchestra presents its “Springtime Celebration” concert at 8PM Saturday, May 13, in North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. ‘Everyone Is an Artist,’ the first-ever public art exhibit created by students at Little Friends, Inc., runs May 19-28 at Schoenherr Gallery in the Fine Arts Center at North Central College, 171 E. Chicago Avenue in Naperville. The public is welcome to an artists’ reception to held 5:30PM until 7PM on Wed., May 24. During this reception, visitors will have an opportunity to meet some of the artists. Everyone Is an Artist: The Art of Identity, Inclusion and Inspiration is made possible, in part, by a generous donation from the Joliet Woman’s Club, whose 2016 gift helped fund art and music education at Krejci Academy.
