On Saturday, April 22, 2016, a Naperville Police Officer was flagged down in the 1500 block of north Naper Blvd by a victim reporting he had been robbed.
Upon investigation, it was learned the victim was to meet and purchase an agreed upon item from the seller, but upon meeting, the sellers demanded the victim’s money. The victim complied and the offenders fled the area. No weapons were displayed or inferred and no one was injured.
Patrol officers developed leads and upon further investigation were able to locate the offender, interview him, and obtain information to arrest and charge the offender, Thomas J. Woods Jr., (M/B 2-6-99) of Bolingbrook.
