Autism Awareness Month aims to promote understanding all year.

Naperville based Little Friends welcomes parents for a free consultation, snacks and a chance to win free educational visuals during its April Open Houses scheduled from 9AM to 7PM on April 17, 18 and 20, 2017.

April is Autism Awareness Month, an initiative aimed to help increase society’s understanding and acceptance of all individuals affected by autism and other developmental disabilities.  This month’s special three day-long series of open houses at Little Friends Center for Autism will provide opportunities to stop by for a tour, ask questions, learn about their many exceptional programs and inquire about educational workshops that assist individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

In addition to diagnostic evaluations for children as young as 18 months, Little Friends offers Applied Behavior Analysis, speech therapy and weekly social skills groups. The center also provides training and consultation services for school districts and other agencies and will be offering its Five-Day Core Autism Training in June and July.

Attendees also can register for a workshop or two to learn about the instructional services provided by Little Friends.
