On Tuesday, April 4, Naperville Police arrested a Naperville man on a DuPage County warrant charging him with crimes related to two separate acts of public indecency in March.
Mark K. Poulopoulos, 56, of the 1900 block of Navarone Avenue in Naperville, is charged with two counts each of Public Indecency and Disorderly Conduct.
The charges stem from a March 6, 2017, incident at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in downtown Naperville and a March 29, 2017, incident at Portillo’s Restaurant on Jefferson Avenue.
In each incident, Poulopoulos entered the public place wearing shorts with nothing underneath and purposefully and continually opened his legs up to young females, exposing his genitals. The victims are 20, 23 and 27 years old.
Poulopoulos was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his residence. Additional charges are pending.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
