When Tim Pabich started his business, he was just a kid with a computer. With the guidance of several mentors, he learned how to be a CEO. Now his company serves as the outsourced IT department for any number of large and small companies throughout the Naperville area. He has built a staff that serves clients with caring, personable service.
“The tech skills can be taught,” he says. “But I look for the personality, positive attitude, and respect so that I can trust my people to serve clients the way I would.”
Pabich says a calm demeanor, credibility and knowledge have served him well in helping clients feel secure. Companies come to see Magnitech as their virtual CIO, offering honest strategic planning and network solutions.
He says that customer loyalty has been key to growth. In recent years he’s concentrated on internal processes and procedures that have allowed him to scale the business and ensure quality.
He describes his relationship with Naperville Bank & Trust as similar. “Jason and I really hit it off,” he says. “If I have a problem, he’ll propose solutions and we’ll come up with an answer. He’s honest and I trust him. He treats me like I’m his biggest customer.”
