A display of illuminated water features among plants is sure to inspire some ideas for local landscapes.

The 2019 Fox Valley Home and Garden Show returns to the Players Indoor Sports Center in Naperville with free admission and free parking from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7.

Organizers boast that it’s one of the region’s largest home improvement event. Thousands of homeowners attend this massive event every year to find the ultimate in savings and convenience. Professionals host booths to showcase the latest home improvement products and services for the freshest ideas in remodeling, repairing and beautifying their homes.

This year’s event will feature a Tesla Power Wall and Solar Systems as well as seven additional special exhibits and displays, chock full of professionals who welcome questions.

Visitors will experience the latest in outdoor furniture made from 100 percent recycled materials at the By the Yard booth. Free Cooking Demonstrations and Free Wine Tastings throughout the weekend also add to the attraction with some novel ideas.

Among the familiar faces will be Naperville’s John Gallagher, owner of Exterior Designers Inc., with displays of window, siding and roofing products to fill exterior remodeling and maintenance needs.

Don’t be surprised to see familiar faces! Jim Wightman stopped by the booth hosted by Jeannette Gallagher with her husband, John Gallagher, owner of EDI.

“I’ve been hosting a booth at this show for about a dozen years,” said Gallagher, “…ever since the first show Scott held in Naperville. It’s always a good time and right here practically in my back yard… Many of our customers stop by and say hello. I always look forward to it.”

Homeowners likely will find inspiration for their upcoming projects when they attend one of the many informative, free seminars running on stage throughout the weekend presented by home improvement professionals.

In addition to good advice, the home and garden event will feature many of the most popular home improvement projects, as well as home-related topics, organizers said.  Some booths have items for sale that are ready to go for the garden and backyard living spaces.
