Equal Fun For Everyone – Celebrating Families and YOU!

-

There is nothing more inspiring or humbling as witnessing a room of over 400 people demonstrate their support for your friends and neighbors. That is exactly the experience I was honored to be part of at the WDSRA Foundation’s Black & Red Bash held Saturday, March 4.

On that evening, we celebrated the strength and beauty of our participants and families. We heard from two families who count on WDSRA support over the summer so that their child can have a typical camp experience. We recognized an organization, the Topfer Family Foundation, whose steady support has made it possible for many of our participants to make recreation a big part of their lives.

But it was the generous giving that made the evening truly awe-inspiring. More than $140,000 was raised to support our participants and families. Of that, over $59,000 in donations were raised specifically for camps.

What an absolutely incredible demonstration of support.

We cannot say thank you enough to those who share our mission of helping individuals with special needs in their personal development through special recreation. We are so very grateful to everyone who made that evening a huge success.

Your incredible support of WDSRA participants and families is changing the lives of our families, friends and neighbors.

We humbly thank each and every one of our guests, sponsors, donors and volunteers!
