Above / Naperville Police seek info regarding a carjacking on S. Naper Boulevard on Mon., Feb. 13, 2017.
On February 13, 2017, at 8:33PM, the Naperville Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center, 1011 S. Naper Blvd., for a report of a carjacking.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a female employee, a 61 year old Naperville resident, was approached in the parking lot by a man with a handgun, who stole her purse and her gray 2011 BMW X5.
The suspect fled southbound on Naper Boulevard prior to police arrival.
The suspect is described as a male black, teenaged subject, medium complexion, 5’6”-5’7”, 160 lbs, clean shaven, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was brought to the scene of the incident by an unknown subject driving a white vehicle, who also left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police believe the suspects may have followed the victim to the parking lot before the incident occurred. No one was hurt, and no students were in the building at the time of the incident.
