41st Little Friends’ Annual Benefit Auction is set for March 4

-

Above / Mayor Steve Chirico took a sure bet with an over-sized pair of dice for the success of the 40th Annual Benefit Auction in 2016, helping to raise $200,000-plus for Little Friends. The annual gala dinner event is held on the first Saturday in March.

Little Friends’ 41st Annual Benefit Auction will be held Sat., March 4, 2017, at the Hilton Lisle-Naperville, located on the south side of Warrenville Road just east of Naperville Road.

This annual event is the agency’s largest fundraiser and features an elegant evening complete with a cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions, raffles, live entertainment and more.

Funds raised at the auction will directly benefit Little Friends’ programs and services.

Schedule of Festivities

6PM – Cocktail reception and silent auction preview

7PM – Dinner

7:45PM – Live auction begins with dessert / Live music, provided by Chicago OGD, to follow

9:45PM – Silent auction closes

In 2016, 400 friends of Little Friends attended the 40th benefit auction at the Hilton-Lisle-Naperville.

This year’s event includes a new feature that will allow guests to directly impact Little Friends’ various flagship divisions: School Programs, Adult Day Programs, Adult Residential Services and The Little Friends Center for Autism.  Known as “The Blue Envelope Project,” guests will be able to donate funds for needed items in each division as well as interact with staff and clients from those areas.

“I could not be more excited about the mix of elements dating back for 41 years of this event, along with a brand new opportunity for our supporters to mix with the heart of our Agency – our program staff and clients,” said Kristi Athas Landorf, Little Friends’ President and CEO. “The annual auction is an evening for friendship, advocacy and support for our agency. It’s also our best opportunity to educate our guests as to the life-changing programs and services we provide for our clients and their families.”
