UPDATE, Dec. 3, 2017 / Attired in matching plaid pajamas, the Dodson family arrived at Oswald’s Pharmacy Sunday afternoon, decked out for the fun of it, looking as though they had just settled their brains for a long winter’s nap.
With the help of a green screen and Afresco photographer Suzy Chang, the family staged a variety of photos to use with a throwback backdrop for their holiday greeting. Only recipients of the Dodson’s Christmas card will get to see the final image that will depict the enjoyment they had in front of the camera made available in the Alfresco photo booth at Oswald’s Pharmacy.

The public is invited to join in the hilarity with an appointment between Noon and 2PM on Sat., Dec. 2, then Sun., Dec. 3, when Oswald’s Pharmacy in Naperville Plaza will host Alfresco Booth for “Throwback Family Photos.”

Once you’ve booked your appointment time with Alfresco (click here) Booth, gather the clan and head to Oswald’s with your 70s lamé, 80s hair, or 90s flannel and take full advantage of the retro living-room scene that will take you back in time.
Just as last year, folks are encouraged to practice their most unforgettable poses and forced smiles in outrageous outfits. Or raise the awkwardness bar with some fun photo-prop options provided by Alfresco Booth.
Mixing the old with the new, this perfect “throwback” mashup is sponsored by Blooming Color and is open to the public of all ages.
A free printed photo will be given to individuals who arrive with a donation of personal-care items (such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, diapers, baby formula, etc.) for Loaves & Fishes Community Services.
Purchase Printed Postcards & Digital Copies
High-resolution digital copies and printed postcard options will be available for purchase at the event. For example, 25 postcards plus digital images cost $30; 50 postcards plus digital images are $50.
