Above / Naperville Police respond to report of shots fired early Thanksgiving morning. Crime Stoppers offer reward.

UPDATED, Nov. 28, 2016 / NAPERVILLE CRIME STOPPERS are offering up to a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for an incident that occurred on Thursday November 24, 2016 (Thanksgiving) at 1:57AM in the parking lot of 1437 Fairway Drive. We are looking for a male, hispanic, 20 – 30 years of age, driving a white mid-size model SUV. The suspect fired at least five rounds from his handgun, one of which struck the victim. We know that this vehicle came from the parking lot of The Addison of Naperville Apartment Complex.

Estamos buscando un macho, hispano, de 20 a 30 años de edad, conduciendo un SUV de tamaño mediano blanco. El sospechoso disparó cinco o seis cartuchos de su pistola, una de las cuales golpeando a la víctima. Sabemos que este vehículo vino de los estacionamientos de The Addison of Naperville Apartments. Naperville PolicePrevious Post / On November 24, 2016, at approximately 1:57AM, the Naperville Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Fairway Drive for the report of shots fired.

While en route responding units were notified of a subject shot in the area. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and four of his friends were involved in a verbal dispute with a subject who was driving through the parking lot.

During the dispute the suspect, who witnesses reported to be a male Hispanic believed to be in his 20’s, fired multiple shots. After the shots were fired the suspect fled the area in a white SUV.

naper_fireThe victim was transported to Edward Hospital by the Naperville Fire Department for treatment of his injuries, which at this time are believed to be non-life threatening.
