Journey with Autism – Learn behaviors practiced in special education

-

Has the old-fashioned, almost extinct practice of living the Golden Rule left our world glaringly leaping from bad behavior to the complete lewd?  Good practices of politeness and development of social skills I’d learn from the people working to help me with my autism, stressed doing to others always what I would want done to me.

I’m knowing that out in the world of disabled individuals living with tremendous obstacles, each of us is held to a high standard of conduct, and rules are made regarding how we speak and act.

We’re told that if we do not follow the practices of proper conduct, we will be removed from interactions in the life of those without the labels of autism or other handicaps.

Ask yourselves if you and those in the public eye are held to the same standard? When I’m listening to the world of politics and the people we are delegating the really most important positions out there, I’m fully without any doubt knowing they are in need of the benefits of those same practices I’m living.

Maybe we should provide those people living ruleless and lost in ego with behavior intervention and a page from special education.
