We are throwing a party and you are invited! To culminate our 40th anniversary of bringing exceptional special recreation to families with special needs, we want you to join us for an afternoon of family fun, country music and great food.
The Food Truck Festival is a terrific way to celebrate all the outstanding partnerships that have made our 40 years of serving families possible. This event is a thank you to the Naperville Park District and all our park district partners, the organizations who have joined together over the last 40 years to make DuPage County an exceptional place to raise a family and the thousands of businesses who have lent their support over the years.
Most of all this event is a tribute to the literally thousands of amazing people who over the last four decades have made the commitment to either volunteer their time or work WDSRA programs. They are the heart and soul of WDSRA because of the authentic connections that they make with each individual. We celebrate the optimism, enthusiasm and sincerity that they share with our participants every day.
The event takes place 4-6PM Sunday, October 2, at the Naperville Riverwalk Grand Pavilion (in back of the Centennial Beach parking lot). Family fun includes face painting, a playground and several climbing inflatables. The Food Trucks include: Toasty Cheese, The Roaming Hog, Copper Oven Pizza, and Chesas Gluten Tootin Free. Musical guest Prairie Station Country Band will be performing. Admission is $2 (does not include food). Registration is strongly encouraged at www.wdsra.com.
