On Tuesday July 12, 2016, at approximately 2:14PM, the Naperville Police and the Fire Departments responded to the area of Chicago Av. and Naper Blvd. for a vehicle crash.
Involved was a White 2008 Nissan Murano, driven by 73-year-old Franklin Fisher of Naperville, and a 2001 Maroon Harley Davidson, driven by 28-year-old Brian Spravka of Naperville.
Initial investigation indicates that the Murano was traveling westbound on Chicago Av. and turned left onto southbound Naper Blvd in front of the Harley Davidson, which was eastbound Chicago Av., with the right of way.
The driver of the 2008 Nissan Murano, Franklin Fisher, has been cited for Failure to Yield- Turning Left.
Spravka and his passenger, 25-year-old Julianne Burton of Downers Grove, were transported to Edward Hospital for treatment.
Due to the nature of the crash, members of the Naperville Traffic Unit, who are trained in accident investigation and reconstruction, responded to the scene to investigate the crash. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
