Historic Trolley Tour of Naperville – 11AM | $15

Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville! This one hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlight’s Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories! Offered every Friday, departing at 11AM during June, July, and August (and special dates/times may be added between September and December). Meet at the ‘Trolley Stop’ on Jackson Ave. at Eagle Street by 10:50AM. $15 per person, all ages. Trolley is fully enclosed and will run rain or shine, no refunds. It’s a ‘must do’ while in town! Naperville Ribfest – noon – 10PM | $15-$125. Kids 11 and under are free with a paying adult.
Naperville Exchange Club Ribfest – 421 W. Martin Avenue Naperville, IL 60565
The Exchange Club of Naperville will present the 29th Ribfest from noon to 10PM July 1-4 at Knoch Park in Naperville. The family festival is set to return with four days of food, fun and music, all with a purpose. Over the past 28 years, $14.5M has been donated from Ribfest proceeds to more than 50 local agencies, all working to prevent and eliminate child abuse and domestic violence. This year’s main stage headliners include 3 Doors Down on July 1, Sheryl Crow on July 2, Lee Brice on July 3 and the Gin Blossoms on July 4. The four-day festival will end with fireworks at 9:30PM on July 4. In addition to Ribs, there will be an extensive selection of food vendors, drinks and special treats. There will also be family friendly activities each day including a carnival with rides, free family area for kids including a petting zoo, inflatables, and much more! www.ribfest.net.

Round Chair Sculpture Exhibit – Free |

Circle the scene to find 18 whimsical and colorful round ball chairs and golf ball chairs, painted in style, that help tell the story of Naperville and the local business community.  The chairs will be on display until September. So come on down! Remember that the annual Summer Sidewalk Sales run July 7-9 in downtown, too.

Caseys Foods located at Naperville Plaza will be firing up its grill every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 2PM through October, weather permitting. Choose from a variety of options, including burgers, brats, tacos or the weekly special. Its great food, at a good price, in a fun atmosphere.

Church services in the German language will be held at St. John United Church of Christ at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 3. The service will be led by Pastor Dr. Egon Gerdes, and all are welcome to attend. St. John UCC is located at 1190 Olesen Drive.
