catch-logoCatch 35-Naperville is diving into a harmonious offer to complement the summer series of Municipal Band Concerts in Central Park every Thursday evening from now until Aug. 18.

The seafood restaurant in downtown Naperville is offering a special 3-course prix fixe menu ($25) for dining in before the concert or packed up to go for a picnic at the park.  The prix fixe menu will be featured from 4PM to 6PM on Thursday concert nights, Naperville location only.

“Concert-goers are welcome to enjoy music, food, and beauty of Naperville during dinner every Thursday evening at Catch 35 before the Naperville Municipal Band performs,” said Beth Sweeney, Social Media Manager for Catch 35. “Or we will pack it up for a picnic at the park before the show.”

“I’m excited about this!” she said. “We are going to, in addition to the 3-course prix fixe menu, offer Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc for $18.59 per bottle.”

The price of the wine commemorates the year, 1859, when the Naperville Municipal Band began performing in Central Park, Sweeney added.

Sweeney shared some flavor and tasting notes on the wine.

“Aromas of sweet ripe fruit reminiscent of ripe gooseberry, with golden stone fruit and rock melon are apparent,” she said. “This wine, considered a benchmark of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, is from fruit harvested across the Marlborough region famous for this variety. The wine displays full fruit intensity with hints of pungency complementing the ripe fruit flavors and balancing well with the crisp acidity of the style.”

Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with lemon chicken, Thai spices, and fresh seafood, she added.NMB Concert Summer 12016060967-3Above / The sidewalk from Washington Street across from Catch 35 leads to Central Park where the Naperville Municipal Band performs its 11-week summer concert series.  The theme for June 23 NMB Concert is “Game Day,” a time to wear your favorite team t-shirt and play “Stump the Band.” Cheers!
