Fire Prevention 24-7 – CAPS for Commemorative Bricks

-

Citizens Appreciate Public Safety (CAPS) is a community group that recognizes public safety personnel for their contributions to the City of Naperville and the community.

CAPS Awards are presented to nominees who have displayed an interest in Naperville’s residents in a manner above and beyond the call of duty and have exhibited a genuine concern for the welfare and well-being of all.

The Public Safety Plaza, located between the Aurora Avenue Police and Fire Departments, is a symbol of unity. It was dedicated in 2001 to the fine men and women of the Naperville Police and Fire Departments, acknowledging those who served and retired or died while serving. The sculptures on both sides of the Plaza depict the care and dedication of Naperville’s Public Safety employees.

Naperville CAPS Commemorative Brick Program is a way to honor a friend, remember a loved one, commemorate a milestone, or pay tribute to the police and fire departments. The purchase of a brick provides an opportunity to visibly honor the men and women of the Naperville Police and Fire Departments. It also supports the CAPS organization and its mission to continually recognize public safety personnel that exceed expectations and make a difference in the community.

Each 8” by 8” brick is priced at $250, which includes up to 6 lines of engraved text with a maximum of 13 characters per line (punctuation and spaces are considered characters).

CAPS is a 501(C)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.

Please call Ruthi Sommers of the Naperville Fire Department at (630) 305-5900 with any questions or visit www.napervillecaps.com.
