As Dan DeBoo begins to wrap up his year as president of the Exchange Club of Naperville, members recently selected their new Board of Directors for the 2016-17 year.
The new officers are President Bob Pschirrer, President-Elect Robin Choquette, Secretary Trish Krenick and Treasurer Peter Audenas.
Serving as Directors are Janet Jacobs, Emy Trotz, John Dunham, Diane Simmons, Peggy McGuire and Rick Grimes. Vice Presidents are Joel Carlson, Todd Peterson, Dot Maginot, Bruce Erickson, Jeff Coros, and Scott Duenser.
Also on the Board are Past Presidents Dan DeBoo, Bob Black, Dawn Portner and Jennifer Cavalier.
This group of talented and dedicated volunteers will take office immediately at the close of the four-day Ribfest 2016 that ends on July 4.
Ribfest once again has an outstanding line up for the Main Stage, including Three Doors Down, Sheryl Crow, Lee Brice, and Sister Hazel, to name a few.
Our attractive new Ribfest website is up and running, designed with handy online ticket sales and other features. Find general admission Early Bird ticket prices until June 1. Volunteers also can sign up online for a shift on just about any of the four days.
The South Stage has daily performances from a variety of local bands. The Family Area, sponsored by Naperville Bank and Trust, provides many opportunities for children, from the petting zoo to a wide range of other activities.
I also want to mention, Project HELP, which was formed and funded by the Exchange Club of Naperville, is hosting a breakfast, “Community Begins at Home” featuring Dr. Diana Rauner as the keynote speaker. The event will take place from 7:30AM to 9:30AM on May 10, 2016, from at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $50 each.
