‘Grease’ / 1PM / This rollicking musical will take you back to the 1950’s music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley in the songs “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin” and more. “Grease” will be performed at Naperville North High School, 899 N. Girls on Gartner / 11AM-7PM / The 4th Annual Girls On Gartner is slated noon to 7PM on Wed., May 4, at Naperville Plaza, the popular shopping destination located on the southwest corner of Washington St. at Gartner Ave. For starters, stop by First Community Financial Bank to pick up a “swag bag” and a punch card. Simply follow directions, tour the shopping plaza and when the card is punched by participating merchants, the card can be dropped off for a chance to win one of three valuable gift baskets now on display.

Metea Valley High School Theater Presents ‘The Addams Family’ / 7PM / They’re creepy and they’re kooky; mysterious and spooky. They’re altogether ooky, The Addams Family! The musical sensation that follows the bizarre and beloved Addams Family will take center stage at Metea Valley High School (MVHS) concluding the 2015-16 theater season. The live lobsters sell for $20, cooked for $25 and the filet mignon are $13 each. Each lobster has an average weight of 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds and the filets are 6-8oz. Lobsters and filets will be available during scheduled pick up times from 11AM to 5PM on Sat., May 7, at Centennial Beach, located at 500 W. Jackson Ave. in Naperville. Honor Flight Chicago Fundraiser / 11AM-2:30PM / The DuPage Veterans Foundation will host the 5th Annual Honor Flight Chicago fundraiser, being held again inside the spacious Calamos Hangar out at the DuPage County Airport in West Chicago. (Suggestion: Arrive before 1PM.) The luncheon event features special guests, live music performed by the Naperville Municipal Big Band, singing by the Legacy Girls, dancing with veterans, patriotic military displays and silent auction items. All proceeds from this annual event will benefit Honor Flight Chicago.

5th Annual Kentucky Derby Gala for Hesed House / 3PM to 7PM / Presented this year by Gerald KIA and Meson Sabika, the Kentucky Derby Gala to benefit Hesed House is slated to run at the new Embassy Suites, Chicago /Naperville. A “Derby after Dark” party extends the event with more live music for dancing until 10PM.

5th Annual Operation Welcome You Home 5K Run / 8AM / The 5K helps raise money for wounded veterans in need.
