Above / The popular Arbor Day event will feature a wide variety of tree species at the Department of Public Works, 180 Fort Hill Drive at Jefferson Avenue, west of Ogden.
The Department of Public Works is hosting its annual Arbor Day Tree Sale from 8AM to noon on Saturday, April 30, at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Drive.
The public will be able to select from a large variety of trees at tremendous savings for use in beautifying their yards and sustaining the environment. Many different tree varieties will be for sale, including various maples, crabapples and oaks.

Pay by cash or check
Attendees may pay by cash or check, and all trees purchased must be removed by noon. No commercial sales are allowed. Trees will be located inside the Public Works Service Center to avoid the public standing outside in the event of inclement weather. All trees available for purchase are container grown, so they are easier to transport than trees that are wrapped in burlap. Public Works employees will be on hand to help load trees into vehicles, and Morton Arboretum experts will be available to answer question, offer planting advice and distribute tree literature.
Rain barrels, too!

Naperville has been named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation for 26 consecutive years thanks to its work to develop a thriving urban forest. Tree City USA is supported by the USDA Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Program.
