Journey with Autism – Changing the way we view history

-

This month of February every state celebrates history with Presidents Day by treating people to days off of school or work. This year is an American presidential election year in the United States. We have to form a government of leaders that lead us towards real solutions to the issues that face our country.

People are doomed to return to mistakes unless they take time to reflect on the other older Presidents and leaders while valuing hindsight. It is hard work for the absence of knowledge individual to understand the whole history of our country. Taking pieces of history under different times and using young America as if we can make an equal deal today is impossible.

Our celebrated Presidents last as joining the public to great important ideas. We established a government based on the principal of each of us being created equal. It is a fundamental link to history that reminds us of the vision of those holding the holiday name.

In listening to their speeches or doing them proud by reading the stories of why they were great, we can change our patterns of thinking and look into the eyes and hearts of all of the presidential candidates and ask each how George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would vote.
