ALERT! Nov. 25, 2015 /  The Sarah Palin event scheduled at 6PM for Tues., Dec. 1,  for the Naperville Marriott Hotel, has been canceled by the author. This cancellation is due to circumstances out of the control of Anderson’s Bookshops and we apologize for any inconvenience.

Previous Post Nov. 16, 2015 / She’s a national figure with political and TV recognition- including her run for Vice President of the United States- and now, Sarah Palin shares her new title: Sweet Freedom: A Devotional. And that book is the focus of her visit to Naperville, coming on Tuesday, December 1 at 6PM to the Naperville Marriott, 1801 N. Naper Blvd.

Palin is the New York Times bestselling author of Going Rogue, America by Heart, and Good Tidings and Great Joy. She was the first woman elected governor of Alaska and the first woman Republican vice-presidential candidate. Time magazine named her one of the “100 Most Influential People” in 2010. Her television credits include hosting the TLC network’s Sarah Palin’s Alaska and she is a Fox News contributor. The mother of five children and grandmother of two, Palin lives with her husband, Todd, in Wasilla, Alaska.

Fans interested in joining the December 1 booksigning line are invited to purchase tickets. This will be a signing line only event. One ticket admits one person to the line (except children under 18, who are free). Ticket holders will receive a signed book after meeting Palin and having a brief photo opportunity. A professional photographer will be on hand to take those photos, which will be free and downloadable immediately following the event.  For this special program, books are NOT available for pick up prior to the event.

Tickets and important details for the Palin event are available exclusively at www.sarahpalinandersons.brownpapertickets.com.

Anderson’s Bookshop, Naperville will be the official bookseller, but in this case, the store is not accepting orders via the phone, online, or over the counter. Tickets are strictly sold via the exclusive Brown Paper Tickets link.

Note Special Security Measures

Security measures mean that for this event, no bags, purses, or cell phones will be allowed at the signing table. The bookselling staff will offer a place to leave items (within sight) as guests approach the table and then retrieve them as they exit the area. Fans are encouraged to bring as little as possible into the venue.

Sweet Freedom by Sarah Palin

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” — John 14:27

In Sweet Freedom, Sarah Palin invites you to draw strength and inspiration from 260 meditations based on guiding Biblical verses. You are not alone in your doubts and anxieties—we all bear the burdens of everyday stresses, and for most of us, our concerns spread beyond our selves to our families, communities, and country. But Palin shows that with abiding faith, and by opening ourselves to the truths that have saved mankind for generations, we can thrive—and experience true freedom.
