Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville! This one hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlight’s Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories! Offered every Friday, departing at 11AM during June, July, and August. Meet at the ‘Trolley Stop’ on Jackson Ave at Eagle Street by 10:50AM. $15 per person. It’s a ‘must do’ while in town! Ding! Ding!

Varsity Rush 5k Obstacle Course Race & WOD – 8AM | $60-$140

Varsity Rush Obstacle Race and WOD has something for everyone. While you won’t become the TOUGHEST WARRIOR in SPARTA, your entire family can have fun without fear of electric shock, barbed wire, or being dunked in some ice bath. You will have fun with the 1 Mile Jr. Rush course for the kids, 5k Course, and WOD as well as earn a cool medal and t-shirt. varsityrush.com.

Casey’s Fires Up the Grill  – 11AM-2PM | Specials start at $5
Casey’s Foods in Naperville Plaza  – Washington Street at Gartner Road.
Today’s grilling will be repeated every Saturday and Sunday with lunchtime favorites until next fall. Picnic tables provide seating under cover.  Casey’s also has a variety of specialty cakes for special occasions in its bakery. Experience Triathlon / Naperville Sprint Triathlon – 7AM
Be prepared for street closures near downtown Naperville Sunday morning. The race starts on Sunday, August 2, at 7AM at Centennial Park Beach, 500 West Jackson Avenue. Packet Pickup will be on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, at Naperville Running Company, 34 West Jefferson, Naperville, Illinois. German Language Church Services – 11:30AM
St. John United Church of Christ – 1190 Olesen Drive Naperville, IL 60540
Church services in the German language will be held at St. John United Church of Christ at 11:30AM on Sunday, Aug. 2. The service will be led by Pastor Dr. Egon Gerdes, and all are welcome to attend. St. John UCC is located at 1190 Olesen Drive. German services are held on the first Sunday of every month and will continue on Sept. 6 and Oct. 4. For more information call (630) 355-5208.

Settlement Sundays – 1PM | $8-$12. $12 adult, $10 senior (62+), $8 youth (4-12), Naperville residents and members are free.

Each Sunday through Aug. 30 (with the exception of July 12), admission to our museum includes free sundaes from Culvers with do-it-yourself toppings, hands-on family activities and tours of historic buildings.
