Brighton offers unique partnership for independent retailer Dean’s Clothing

-

The national manufacturer of jewelry, leathers and more celebrates “The Spirit of Independence Day” with Dean’s Clothing, one of their favorite independent specialty stores.

As an American company which loves small stores, Brighton is announcing a special Independence Day celebration at many independent boutiques that carry their line of finely-crafted women’s accessories and offer great personal service to their customers. Using time-honored artisan techniques, each season this manufacturer creates a new head-to-toe line of products that have a fresh, modern style that consistently drives customers to the boutiques.

Celebrate Independence Day on July 2

The next special event at Dean’s Clothing will take place from 9AM to 8PM on Thurs., July 2, and promises to be exciting. Brighton is proud to celebrate along with them.

“We so appreciate Dean’s Clothing as a home for our brand,” explained Brighton’s President of Sales and Marketing, Laura Young.  “The experience a specialty boutique can give to the people who shop locally and love our brand gives us confidence that the customers who shop there for Brighton are treated well. We thank Dean’s Clothing as they exemplify the American spirit of independence and offer great service to their customers, day in and day out, all year long.”

As our nation adds another candle to its birthday cake, owner Greg DeGeeter invites the community to celebrate with his independent specialty store which has been in business for since 1959, located at 226 S. Main Street in downtown Naperville.

Everyone in the community is welcome to visit the store, join in the fun and activities, and enjoy complimentary food, beverages and entertainment during business hours on July 2.

Beginning on July 3, with a single same day purchase of $50 or more of charms, spacers, and beads in store, every customer will receive the denim-hued Woodstock Bracelet absolutely free while supplies last.

Brighton’s history with Dean’s

Brighton has chosen a path to success that is very different from other companies of their kind. Instead of focusing on department stores, Brighton concentrates on helping small boutiques to succeed. Brighton’s owners, Jerry and Terri Kohl, started out as small storeowners themselves – and they have a passion for helping “nice stores, run by nice people.” The products have evolved over the years, but it is the same philosophy that drives the heartstrings of their accessory manufacturing company today.

Brighton is a nationally known brand, and they could sell products through many different channels, yet they are very proud to have a partnership with fine retailers such as Dean’s Clothing. They give kudos to this store because it offers customers not only a welcoming ambience, but gives them terrific service, through information about products and, most of all, a true community connection – the owners and staff deliver the important, intangible extras that make women feel special.

The success of any independent specialty store depends on being special and treating customers specially. Brighton has built its own success by helping these local stores to thrive. One of their missions is to ensure that women can keep “shopping local” in specialty stores that offer them not only relevant and stylish products, but also a warm and rewarding shopping experience. Brighton’s sales representatives visit the stores regularly to analyze stock levels and sales, educate staff, merchandise for best impact and ease of shopping for customers, and help with their special events.

Five and a half decades ago Dean’s Clothing was inspired to open to fill a need for a boys store in Naperville. Dean Degeeter decided to open in 1959 as a boys store which later included Men’s and followed with a Women’s department.

Known as a specialty retailer, Dean’s Clothing  has the ability to give customers what they want and give them the attention they deserve.

The store started with Leegin men’s belts back in the 70’s and has grown to the present to include a wide selection of women’s accessories. Today Dean’s is Naperville’s Brighton headquarters.

The staff at Dean’s looks forward to seeing old friends and meeting many new people who have yet to visit the store.

About Brighton / Brighton offers a broad-ranging assortment of finely crafted handbags, jewelry, belts, footwear, small leather essentials, eyewear, luggage, fragrances and gifts.
