Local links are chock full of charity golf outings to hit the mark for many good causes!

If your organization is planning a charity golf outing that you’d like us to post online, please send the date with all the particulars to stephanie@positivelynaperville.com.

June Golf Events

THE JUDD KENDALL POST 3873 GOLF OUTING / Sat., June 6 / At Seven Bridges Golf Club. Tee off times start at noon. The cost is $100 per person, including golf, lunch and beverage at the course. Dinner will follow at the Post after the afternoon of golf. Sign up on the sheet at the Post in the Canteen. Additional dinners at the Post will be $10 per person and you may also sign up for the dinner only on the same sheet in the Canteen. Singles are encouraged to sign up all we ask is that if you sign up as a single you put your name with other single players so that we fill foursomes first. Please make your payment to the bartender at the time you sign up. The signup sheet will be available in the Canteen starting Mon., April 13, 2015. Golfers will be playing scratch golf and will have closest to the pin and longest drive competitions. Prizes awarded after dinner. If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a hole, the cost is $100 and a sign will be on the T-box recognizing the sponsor. QUIGLEY’S IRISH PUB ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING / 9:30AM, Mon., June 15 / At Fox Bend Golf Course on Route 34 in Oswego / All proceeds benefit Families Helping Families. 1ST ANNUAL ROAST OUT SARCOMA GOLF TOURNAMENT IN MEMORY OF JOSEPH M. SWEENEY / Thurs. June 25 / The outing will be held at Orchard Valley Golf Course (2411 W. Illinois Ave, Aurora), and it will begin with a 1:30PM shotgun start and a pig roast dinner and raffle/auction following the day’s events. Registration begins at 12:30PM. Foursomes are $600 and individuals are $150. Old-fashioned pig roast dinner only is $50 beginning at 6PM. All proceeds will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in Joe Sweeney’s name.
