Members of the Naperville Police Department Investigation’s Division and High Technology Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on May 21, 2015, in the 700 block of Inland Circle after receiving several cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The resident was taken into custody after numerous images of child pornography were located on his computer. The suspect, identified as Lafayette Riley (26 years old) was subsequently charged with the following: (4) Counts of Possession of Child Pornography (Class 3 Felony)
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Naperville Police Department. Riley was subsequently transported to the DuPage County Jail to await a bond hearing.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
