The Pete Ellman Big Band will present more than 250 students, performing in small-group ensembles throughout the day beginning at 8AM. Admission during the day is free.  The best jazz musicians in the world, Wayne Bergeron, Andy Martin, and Jeff Coffin, will work with high school students throughout the day and give a combined concert at 7PM. The Pete Ellman Big Band will back up these great artists.

Forever the Tramp: A Chaplin Retrospective – 4PM | $7

After receiving an honorary Oscar in 1972, actor Charlie Chaplin, portrayed by Terry Lynch, looks back on his legendary career as a pioneer of American film. Included are his days in Chicago with Essanay Studios, his Hollywood success, and finally, his exile in Switzerland. The year 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s film, ‘The Tramp,’ the movie that created the characteristics of his on screen persona. Spaghetti Dinner – Scout Troop 106 – 4PM | $7-$10. $7 for children ages 3-11; $10 for adults

To help continue its long history of service to boys and young men in the Naperville community, Boy Scouts of America Troop 106 will host a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser in conjunction with its chartering organization, American Legion Post 43. The event is open to the public. Each Spaghetti Dinner meal will include spaghetti with meatballs or sausage, salad, garlic bread, dessert and a beverage. Advance reservations are requested. Funds raised from the event will support Troop 106 Scouts’ attendance at summer camp, maintenance for the Troop’s camping trailer, purchase of replacement camping tents, and upcoming service projects.
