Naperville Sister Cities Commission will celebrate international culture at Wentz Hall and Fine Arts Center, 171 East Chicago Ave., Naperville on the campus of North Central College at 8PM on Fri., April 17 with a performing arts exposition.
Four unique performances will be featured: Chicago Sinfonietta renowned for their multi-ethnic embrace; the Neuqua Chamber Singers, a Naperville award-winning voices; Mexico Ballet Folkloric showcasing our newest sister city, Patzcuaro, Mexico and Nitra, Slovakia, Naperville’s sister city since 1993 with the legendary Slovakian dance presentation.
Prior to the entertainment portion of the evening, at 6:30PM, delegates from Illinois Sister Cities Commissions will be hosted to a dinner gala at Wentz Hall exchanging their warmhearted world-wide associations. Following the gala, the general public is invited to delight in an extraordinary international program entitled Celebrate Sister Cities Performing Arts honoring our cultural, educational, humanitarian, and economic exchanges.
