Well-known for popularizing the concept of “Why,” best-selling author Simon Sinek will address the community during a speaker’s series hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce in May. The leadership expert will present his insights from 7:30-9:30AM at Tues., May 5, at Community Christian Church – Yellow Box, located at 1635 Emerson Lane, just off Ogden Ave.
For general admission, Chamber Members are $50 per person and the public is welcome for $65 per person. The VIP Chamber Members Only— including preferred seating, a copy of ‘Leaders Eat Last’ and book signing following the presentation— are $125 per person.
Why Simon Sinek?
Born in England in 1973, Sinek is best known for popularizing the concept of “the golden circle” and to begin with “Why,” the belief that people don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.
He teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. With a bold goal to help build a world in which the vast majority of people go home everyday feeling fulfilled by their work, Sinek is leading a movement to inspire people to do the things that inspire them and inspire others.
With the second most watched talk on Ted.com, many organizations and companies have used his speeches as a guideline for curriculum and leadership training. Sinek’s unconventional and innovative views on business and leadership have attracted international attention and have earned him invitations to meet with an array of leaders and organizations, including Pfizer, NBC/Universal, jetBlue and local entrepreneurs.
