At 7AM on Fri., March 20,, civic organizational leaders and local business leaders will gather for the 18th Annual Mayors’ Community Leadership Breakfast at Benedictine University’s Krasa Center in Lisle to celebrate area youth in Scouting.

The event is sponsored by the Thunderbird and Indian Prairie Districts of Three Fires Council.

Following breakfast, a program running from 7:30 – 8:30AM will recognize youth leadership, featuring stories from active Eagle Scouts as well as inspirational messages from the mayors of the communities served, including: Mayor George Pradel (Naperville), Mayor Tom Weisner (Aurora), Mayor Joseph Broda (Lisle, and Mayor Roger Claar (Bolingbrook).

All proceeds from donations collected will assist the Thunderbird and Indian Prairie Districts in maintaining and expanding Scouting programs to the 4,000 youth they serve in Naperville, Aurora, Lisle, Woodridge, and Bolingbrook. In previous years, the event has raised over $10,000.

To make a reservation, contact Heather Fleetwood at (630) 797-4631 heather.fleetwood@scouting.org) or Wes Weems (630) 797-4630 wes.weems@scouting.org).
