The Berkley-Pendell Piano Scholarship fund will be hosting its 19th annual Piano Competition on Sunday, April 19 at North Central College.
The goal of this competition is to promote the accomplishments, commitment and artistry of west suburban Chicago’s young pianists. The competition participants represent over 250 teachers. The judges are well-known artists and professionals of Illinois and the Chicago area.
Winners will receive cash prizes, notoriety and be invited to take part in a Celebration Concert held on April 25. Students of grades 5 through 12 are eligible to compete. The entry deadline is March 9 with a $40 fee.
