The Naperville American Legion Post 43 will host its annual “Honoring our Youth” beginning at 6PM on Sat., Feb. 21, 2015. The program will recognize youngsters who have participated in American Legion Programs this past year. Youth then will share their experiences participating in a variety of American Legion programs.
The evening will start with a social hour at 6PM, dinner at 7PM, followed by the Program.
As in the past, this popular event, open to the public, will be held at Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873, located at 908 W. Jackson Ave. The cost is $12 per person with advance reservations and payable at the door. Cash bar.
The menu features the “Prime Rib Dinner” will include a tossed salad, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans, all prepared by the world-renown “Kendall Cooks.” Dessert willl be prepared by “Chef” Lee Lindberg. The dinner price remains at $12 per person, payable at the door.
This annual dinner has always been well attended and reservations are held to 200 in order to accommodate everyone comfortably.
Confirmed reservations are requested no later than Wed., Feb. 18.
“As in the past, this dinner with social is open to the public, so feel free to invite a friend or two,” noted publicist Wayne Fischer.

Going forward, the next social with dinner by the Kendall Cooks will begin at 6PM Sat., March 21, when the dinner will feature a traditional Irish menu of corned beef and cabbage.
