BrightSide Theatre presents ‘It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play’ – 8PM | $18-$25

BrightSide Theatre, presents the holiday classic It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Celebrate this holiday season by gathering your friends and family of all ages and step back in time to Christmas Eve in 1946 at the WBST Radio Studio and be a part of the live audience broadcast of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. Watch five actors and a live Foley sound effects artist bring this beloved American holiday classic to captivating life as they play fifty different characters in this inventive retelling of the timeless story. With the perfect blend of Christmas cheer and theatrical magic, audiences will fall in love all over again with George Bailey and the angel named Clarence who saved his life on Christmas Eve. Homeowners Meeting Tracks New Development – 8AM

As reported in numerous polls, Naperville is a great place to live and do business. A result of these rankings is a continued demand for housing, business locations, and community amenities to serve our growing population and community. For our December meeting, the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation will take a look at some of the newest businesses, buildings, and residential developments completed, planned, or under construction around town. Naperville Development Partnership President Christine Jeffries and Naperville Park District Executive Director Ray McGury will be in attendance at the Park District’s newest building, the Knoch Knolls Nature Center, for the slide show highlighting these new community additions. The business meeting begins at 8:30 and will adjourn by 10 AM. All Naperville area homeowners and neighborhood association board members are welcome.

Winter Wonderland – 3PM | $5

Bring your kids or grandkids to Naperville Woman’s Club Cup Cake contest and spend a fun filled afternoon. Fun for kids ages 2 to 12. Proceeds to benefit NWC philanthropies and other projects. Advance registration required at www.napervillewomansclub.org.

One of the most popular swing bands on the road today, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy returns to North Central College with its high energy and spirit this time with a Christmas twist at 8PM on Saturday, Dec. 13. Holiday Mansion Tours – 1PM| $7

Take a guided tour of the two-story Mansion and Carriage House and stay to enjoy the holiday decorations of Naper Lights afterward. Tours will be held at 1, 2, 3 and 4PM on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 13 and 14. Admission is $7 per person; $5 Naperville Heritage Society Sustaining Members.
