In 2013, Jarrett Payton was the featured speaker. For 2014, Mayor Pradel will wrap it up.

The Naperville YMCAs Mayor’s Community Prayer Breakfast is fast approaching!

This year’s Prayer Breakfast will be on Fri., Dec. 5, beginning with a breakfast buffet at 6:30AM and the program beginning at 7AM. The event again will be held at the 95th Street Fry Family Y.

This will be a special morning as the Y honors Mayor A. George Pradel as he presides over his last Prayer Breakfast before retiring from his leadership on City Council.  He will be the main speaker and surely will fire up and set the tone for an inspirational event, organizers said.

“The members of the Board of the Ys of Naperville are especially looking forward to this year’s Mayors Breakfast, as it is his last, after founding the event several years ago,” noted Deb Newman, incoming board president in January 2015. “Our keynote will be the Mayor himself, talking about growing up in the Naperville community and learning the importance of giving back and becoming a leader.  I think it will be an especially inspiring morning and a great reminder of  true holiday spirit.  We are also grateful to retiring Board Chair Tom Carroll, who will serve as our MC for the breakfast.”

As always, local talent will entertain on stage and get the large audience into the holiday spirit.

Tickets are on sale now – $20/individual; $160/table of 8; $500/table sponsor which includes a table for 10, your name listed on the table and in the program, and table preference. Other sponsorship opportunities are also available.
