Every day more than 17,000 students pass through the hallways of the five high schools within NCUSD 203 and IPSD 204. Recently NCTV17 invited the media students from Naperville Central, Metea Valley, Neuqua Valley, Naperville North and Waubonsie Valley to each create a video news story showcasing something happening within their schools.

These five stories come together in a new show called Hallway Happenings where viewers can take a look inside their local high schools from a student perspective. NCTV17 is excited to share these stories; all of which were produced by the next generation of multi-media journalists. The show premieres on October 21 at 9:30PM. For additional air times, visit www.nctv17.com/schedule or go online at www.nctv17.com/schoolprogramming/ to watch on-demand.

NCTV17 is also partnering with both school districts on another program, School Scene, which is co-hosted by Dan Bridges, Superintendent of NCUSD 203, and Dr. Karen Sullivan, Superintendent of IPSD 204.

With the world of education constantly evolving, Bridges and Sullivan share some of the exciting new things happening with technology in the classroom and the impact it is having on our students’ learning. School Scene premieres on Friday, October 24 at 7:30 PM. Tune in, or go on-line at www.nctv17.com/schoolprogramming/ to watch on-demand.
