Mayor A. George Pradel and Chief Robert W. Marshall recently recognized the students whose artwork appears on the 2014-2015 Crime Prevention Calendar, in the Naperville Municipal Center Council Chambers. Each student received a special certificate of appreciation signed by Mayor Pradel and Chief Marshall for participating in the Crime Prevention Calendar contest.
For 28 years, the Crime Prevention Calendar has been produced by the Naperville Police Department. The project is sponsored by the Exchange Club of Naperville, Naperville Junior Woman’s Club, CrimeStoppers and area schools. This year, approximately 18,000 calendars were produced and delivered during the first week of classes for distribution, free of charge, to elementary school students in Districts 203, 204 and five area private schools.
