This open-air concert brings together some of Chicago’s most talented performers for one night of musical magic under the stars. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, frisbees and a full spread of food and drink. Kick your shoes off and get ready to dance, sway and sing to the music. As we say farewell to another season, we invite you to don your proverbial ‘Suit and Tie’ and get ready for a night of ‘The Glamorous Life’. Begins at 5:30PM. Beginning the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in October, the Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 7AM to noon at the Fifth Avenue Station parking lot.

Bring the family out to DuPagePads’ 10th Annual Run/Walk Event. This year’s course will take runners and walkers through scenic streets of Wheaton and back to DuPagePads for a celebration! Participants can look forward to a door prize drawing, food, music and much more. American Parkinson Disease Association MidWest Chapter Walkathon – 8:30AM| Min $25.00

The American Parkinson Disease Association Midwest Chapter will hold the 24th Annual Walk – A – Thon. beginning with Registration at 8:30 AM Saturday September 6, 2014. Welcome and PD information will begin at 9:30 and the walk at 10:00am. The Grand Pavilion is located on the West end of the Riverwalk. Join us for a walk 1.5 miles on a friendly cource that will accodomadate walkers with canes walkers and wheel chairs. With a minimum $25.00 donation you receive an event t-shirt. All proceeds from the walk will be used for Research to find a cure for Parkinson Disease. A raffle drawing will follow the walk with prizes donated by local merchants and friends. Purchase tickets from 8:30 am thru 11:00 am. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Picnic in the park with family and friends. Food available for purchase.

All Hallows Eve auditions – 4PM

Auditions for characters such as zombies, werewolves, witches, vampires, grim reapers and more for All Hallows Eve: Village of Fear will be held from 4-7PM Wednesday, Sept. 3, Thursday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 7 in the Meeting House at Naper Settlement, located on the northwest corner of Webster Street and Porter Avenue in Naperville. Volunteers must be 16 years old and up. Actors will be asked to read two to three lines for various character roles. All Hallows Eve is a two-day event that will be held from 6:30-10PM Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17-18, at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville.
