The Naperville Police Department responded to the parking lot area near 352 S. Route 59 for a report of an Armed Robbery on August 29 at approximately 4:10PM. Police units located the victim, who was uninjured, and immediately began looking for the suspect who fled the scene. Police units were unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
The preliminary investigation, with assistance from witnesses and the victim, indicates the victim was walking in the parking lot when he was approached by the suspect who displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet who immediately surrendered it. The suspect then ran to a waiting car in the vicinity and was last seen fleeing the area on Route 59.
Suspect: Male/Black, early 20’s, 5’11-6”00, 220-240 wearing all dark clothing Suspect Vehicle: Unknown make and model, black, 4 door sedan with Illinois registration.
