One of the most celebrated outdoor juried art fairs in the Midwest will once again be held along the beautiful Naperville Riverwalk on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21, 2014.

The event begins at the intersection of Main Street and Jackson, and continues along the Riverwalk’s winding brick walkway. A natural showcase of flowers, fountains, covered bridges and sculpture along the DuPage River, the Riverwalk is the ideal setting for artists from around the United States and other countries to showcase their work.

This year, more than 600 artists competed for the 130 available slots.

“The Riverwalk Fine Art Fair attracts and brings the most talented artists from across the country to Naperville,” said Debbie Venezia, executive director of the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair and the Naperville Art League. “Each year, we select unique artists to represent the event and this year’s featured artist is among the very best.”

All 2014 event promotional materials showcase the work of Michael J. Weber. Banners displayed throughout downtown Naperville feature his “5 Ibis”, “White Bowl with Orchid” is highlighted on the 2014 poster, and “Florida Flamingos” come to life on the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair’s promotional postcard.

Visitors can view and purchase artwork from 10AM – 5PM on both days of the fair.

Presented by Main Street Promenade

Main Street Promenade is the presenting sponsor of the 29th Annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, with Cadillac of Naperville and Naperville Bank & Trust and Savant Capital Management providing additional funding support.

“We feel very fortunate to be able to partner with Ruth and Dwight Yackley and the Main Street Promenade,” said Venezia. “Not only are they are contributing significantly to the economic development of the community and ensuring the vitality of the city of Naperville, they are generously supporting our event, enabling us to elevate the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair for our artists and attendees.”
