Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville! This one-hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlights Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories! Tours run every Friday during June, July and August at 11:00AM. Please arrive at 10:50AM. No strollers. $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-17. Spend a lazy, hazy summer day at a picnic while enjoying old-fashioned games, contests and an apple pie competition. Naper Settlement’s Hometown Picnic will be held from noon to 4PM on Saturday, August 9 at 523 S. Webster St. Food will be available for purchase. Activities are included with museum admission. Cavalcade of Homes Military / Veterans Day – 10AM to 9PM | $10 -12
Ashwood Park Subdivision in Naperville (248 Ave. and 111 St.)
Some of the best and most innovative new home designs will be on exhibit during the 2014 Cavalcade of Homes event. Sunday, August 10 is Military and Veterans Day. The 3-week long show is the largest in Illinois and will feature six brand new, beautifully crafted homes in the highly acclaimed community of Ashwood Park North. Tickets can be purchased for $12 at the gate and $10 online.
