Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville! This one-hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlights Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories! The Kroehler YMCA presents Disney’s “Frozen” as part of their Free Movies Under the Stars series. Bring your friends and family out to Central Park; take your perfect seat in a park bench or bring blankets to sprawl out. Pre-movie fun in the bounce house next to the pavilion from 6:30-8:30PM.

Saturday

Naperville Farmers’ Market – 7AM

Beginning the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in October, the Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 7AM to noon at the Fifth Avenue Station parking lot.

Lunch is served fresh off the grill each Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to  2PM at Casey’s Foods. Choose from a variety of options, including burgers, brats, tacos or our weekly special. Chicago Symphony Orchestra Concert Series – 7:30PM | $35-$45

Listen to the awe-inspiring performances of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as it returns to The Morton Arboretum for three nights in June. Concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed into the Arboretum, but food and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on site. Thursday, June 26 will feature musical excerpts from Oscar-nominated films, including ‘Mary Poppins’ and ‘Gone with the Wind.’ Enjoy a classical repertoire from masters Tchaikovsky and Beethoven Friday, June 27 and stringed instruments will shine as the orchestra plays Dvor k’s New World Symphony, featuring solo violinist Elena Urioste Saturday, June 28. Tickets for Thursday’s concert are $45 and $40 for Friday and Saturday’s shows. Parking is $10 per vehicle. Happy Birthday, Martin Mitchell Mansion – 1PM | $8-$12

Visit Naper Settlement for a special 130th birthday celebration of Naper Settlement’s Martin Mitchell Mansion. During the summer of 1884, George Martin and his wife, Sibelia, moved into their new two-story, 12-room brick residence, along with their four children. Today, the Mansion continues to be the crown jewel of Naper Settlement. Enjoy a mini-cupcake with ice cream, take a tour of the Mansion, and play games. Be on hand for the beginning of a yearlong Pass the Plate journey as a special commemorative dish is filled and passed throughout the community.
