Father’s Day brunch and grilling around Naperville

Whether tapas or brunch offerings or dinner, families can take out Dad to one of Naperville’s 240 restaurants this Father’s Day on June 15.  Naperville also offers many fine markets for procuring items for the grill.

Caseys-Grille2Heaven on Seven will spice up palates with an a la carte Cajun inspired brunch, 10AM to 3PM. Live piano will also liven up the mood. For reservations, call (630) 717-0777. Heaven on Seven is located at 224 S. Main St.

SugarToad at Hotel Arista will be serving up its “Not so Suburban Brunch” featuring a la carte brunch items from 7AM to 2PM. The menu features many local and organic foodstuffs prepared with a modern twist. Meson Sabika, located in the historic mansion at 1025 Aurora Ave., will provide guest with a lavish tapas offering, carved prime rib and outdoor grilling stations, weather permitting. Adults are $39.95, kid 7-12 are $17.95 and 6 and under are complimentary. For reservations call (630) 983-3000 x2.

Dinner for Dad

Catch 35 is open 4-9PM on Sundays. Just in time for Father’s Day, Catch 35 is featuring Wild Alaskan Salmon, Grilled Vegetable Cous Cous and Watermelon Salsa. The seasonal menu also includes Maryland Soft Shell Crabs—simply sauteed, brandy muniere butter—Tempura with saffron aioli. Grill for Dad

For all your sausage grilling needs, swing by Kreger’s Brat and Sausage Haus. From the Blackhawks pork brat seasoned with jalapeños, onions, and Chief Black Hawk Porter; to the Buffalo Bill Brat with chicken, blue cheese, Crystal Hot Sauce, and cayenne; to the Chicago Bears Brat with beef, garlic, oregano, basil, worcestershire, and onion; the rotating seasonal brat selection is diverse and flavorful. Kreger’s also offers traditional sausages including Irish, Hungarian and hot Italian. Kreger’s is open from 9AM to 6PM Thursday and Friday, and 8PM to 5PM on Saturday at 605 N.
