Flashback Fridays: Meet a Curator – 1PM | $10

Meet a Naper Settlement curator on the Flashback Fridays Collections Tour from 1 to 2PM Friday, April 4, and the first Friday of every month through October (no program on July 4) to explore a different part of the museum’s collection. The tours are held off-site at the Collections Care and Storage Facility, located in the City of Naperville’s Department of Public Works building at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Fort Hill Drive. See real artifacts from the museum’s collection of over 52,000 objects and learn about the stories behind these objects. For teens to adults, space is limited to the first 20 registrants. Tickets are $10 per person; $8 Heritage Society Sustaining Members. Reservations are required; call (630) 420-6010.

DCMDCM Outdoor Music Festival – 6PM
DuPage Children’s Museum – 301 North Washington Street Naperville, IL 60540
Come for an evening of toe tapping and dancing as we kick off Chicago’s music festival season with our family-friendly and kid-approved music fest. Free with Museum membership or admission. This event will also feature ticketed activities available for an extra fee. Free with Museum membership or admission.

Beginning the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in October, the Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 7AM to noon at the Fifth Avenue Station parking lot.

Annual Community Shred Day hosted by Naperville Bank & Trust – 10AM – 1PM

Downtown Naperville Wine Walk – noon | $25

Stroll through many of Downtown Naperville’s favorite shops while tasting a variety of wines and enjoying appetizers at this leisurely summer event while enjoying ArranmoreArts musicians along the way. Souvenir wine glass included. With advance ticket purchase and staggered start times, age-appropriate attendees may select to attend Saturday, June 7 with ticket proceeds benefiting Arranmore Arts (limited number of tickets available.) This 5K run/walk supports our community’s commitment to literacy, fitness and family. All proceeds go to the Jeanine Nicarico Memorial Literacy Fund that has supported the Naperville area schools with over $300,000 of grants. Grab your friends and come out glowing!! Von Heidecke’s Chicago Festival Ballet: Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty – 2PM | $27-$37

Von Heidecke’s Chicago Festival Ballet announces its production of Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty, with original choreography by Kenneth Von Heidecke. The production will feature internationally renowned professional artists, as well as over 80 students from the school. There will be one performance only, on Sunday, June 8, at 2PM, at Pfeiffer Hall at North Central College in Naperville. Pfeiffer Hall is located at 310 E Benton Avenue, Naperville. Tickets are $37 for adults, $35 for seniors, and $27 for children (17 and under), and are available at (630) 527-1052. Groups of 10 or more purchasing tickets will receive 25% off the total ticket sale. Adults: $37, Seniors: $35, Childen (17 and under) $27.
