With school ending and summer break beginning, I decided to write about a delicious breakfast sandwich that’s easy for anyone to make.
The ingredients are one tablespoon butter, one egg, one English muffin, one piece of American cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
I start by heating the butter in a small skillet pan. Once the butter is melted and a golden yellow, I add the egg. I like my egg sandwich over-easy, so I try not to crack the yolk.
While that is cooking, I toast my English muffin.
I then season the egg with a dash of salt and pepper and I turn the egg over, careful not to break the yolk. Once the egg is cooked to my liking, I place the piece of American cheese over the top.
Next, I place the egg and cheese on my English muffin and sit back and enjoy my egg sandwich!
That tasty egg sandwich will be the start of many fine summer days here in Naperville. Take a crack at it! You should try cooking for your family on a Sunday morning! I guarantee they will love it!
