The Naperville Police Department is conducting an investigation of a suspicious incident at a local bank in Naperville. On May 28, 2014,On 05/28/14 two subjects entered the bank and identified themselves as employees of a telephone carrier/company.
They stated that they had an appointment to “convert” the telephone lines from the old system to the new system & then attempted to gain access to the room containing the telephone lines and computer equipment to perform the work. It was verified that the subjects were not with the stated company and were denied entry. They left the bank; however, no vehicle was seen.
Subject #1 M/W 25-35 years old; 5’07”- 5’10”, average build, dark wavy/curly hair, no facial hair / Well dressed in dark suit coat, dark dress slacks, white dress shirt & dark tie
Subject #1 F/B 30’s; 5’03”- 5’06”, medium/average build, relaxed/permed dark hair, medium / Complexion, well dressed in business-type suit, blouse, low heels, and carrying a Coach purse.
The subjects were not carrying any paperwork, tools or equipment. Anyone having or needing information is encouraged to contact the Naperville Police Department immediately.
