Naperville Jaycees ‘Santa Pet Pictures’ will help benefit food-giving program

The Naperville Jaycees will host “Santa Pet Pictures,” a fund raising event to support the Holiday Food Giving Program benefiting the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s mission to feed hungry people in DuPage County. The event is set for 9AM to 12PM on  Sat., Dec. 7.

Santa will be available for photos with pets and their families at VCA Bolingbrook #252, 570 Concord Lane, Bolingbrook.

The cost will be $5 per photo or $3 per photo with a nonperishable food item donation for our Holiday Food Giving Program. Cash only.

The Naperville Jaycees have a long history of helping feed the hungry by working in cooperation with food banks in the DuPage County area. This is the Jaycees’ first year teaming up with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to help feed local families and they have various food collection and monetary donation events coming up such as their recent food drive at Casey’s Fine Foods, 124 W. Gartner Road, Naperville, on Nov. 16.

Pantry event Dec. 14

This year’s program will conclude with a Northern Illinois Food Bank mobile pantry event at the Trinity Church of the Nazarine, a location in Naperville, on Saturday, December 14.

Did you know? The Naperville Jaycees is a not-for-profit service organization with more than 100 young people dedicated to personal development through community service. The organization provides Naperville area residents with the opportunity to better themselves and to grow personally and professionally while giving through community service and fund raising efforts. Through their fund raising efforts, the Naperville Jaycees are able to donate funds to nonprofit organizations in the community and throughout DuPage County.
